Looks like a decision is to be made this week to change the Job Centre into a B&B by Ashraf Rahman who has a guest house in Merthyr Tydfil. It is going to take place on Oct 14th this Thursday. I've just read it in the South Wales Argus - an article by Elgan Hearn.

Just been reading messages on facebook and lots of people have mentioned turning it into a place for our children to use - what a fantastic idea!
I've said it before on posts our teenagers/children need somewhere to socialise safely. We've been subjected to the loss of cinemas, dance halls, youth clubs it's no wonder kids are fed up and that's where problems arise with anti social behaviour. Let them burn off their energy in clubs that interest them.
The past two years have been difficult ones for them wouldn't it be brilliant if councillors and Tredegar got behind a project like this. Go into schools and ask the kids for their feedback.
It would give them all something to look forward to in 2022
