Sorry, didn't see your reply. I saw it on the tv, I think it was some where in England. Where ever it was it's a stupid ignorant thing to do. The police and members of the public broke a window to get to them. The dogs were taken to a vet, they looked exhausted and terrified. I think they were ok, haven't seen anything to say that they had died.
Something else I do not understand is in the very hot weather people walk their dogs during the hottest time of the day on flag stone pavements and tarmac lanes without any regard for their dogs feet, dogs release and regulate their temperature through their pads and by panting, their pads can burn quite easily, animals can succumb to heatstroke and once you see the signs of heatstroke it could be too late, damage will have already occurred.
