The Tredegar Bygone Years Facebook site has announced the sad death of Kathryn Thomas. She has been a contributor to this site, sharing her memories of her home town,Tredegar. Her parents, Emrys and Marie Davies, were well known in the town for their various contributions to the life of the community. I’m sure our thoughts and prayers are with Kathryn’s family.

Very sorry to hear this sad news. Kathryn was a lovely lady,she had a beautiful singing voice in her younger days. Our sincere condolences to all concerned.R.I.P. Kathryn. Graham and Rose Lewis, Cefn Parc, Tredegar.
