The Willows club at the bottom of Church Street has been sold and planning has been submitted to rip thd club down and replace it with 4 house's.

Also planning had gone in for the old Iron sides club on Queen Victoria street in Cefn to be demolished and 2 new houses built on the site...

Now only the Ashvale and Dukestown clubs remain in the town

Bedwellty Park Bowls Club going strong. Community/Bowls pavilion available for all types of functions. We have hosted Cabaret evenings private parties after funeral receptions the perfect venue. Refurbished clubhouse available for members and guests. Call in and view our facilities you will receive a warm welcome. Pool team Ladies and Mens darts team going well.

I was in a retirement party in He new bowls pavilion a couple of weeks ago and it was a lovely night.Its a nice size room for a medium size party or any occasions..Also the setting was lovely overlooking the bowling green.

Hi Pierre, sorry to see the both club Closing, but Shelley is correct. I celebrated my 80th birthday at the bowls pavilion a week last Saturday, it was a superb venue, great bar staff, and very reasonable prices. My cousin and nephew from Brighton thought they were in seventh heaven, beer prices in Brighton is around £5-7 a pint. Thank you Bowls committee, it was a lovely night.
