SL Thomas- hardware tools, hand operated petrol pump outside

Woolworths (Threepenny and Sixpenny stores)
50 shilling Tailor (was 30/- Tailor then- Weaver to Wearer
Boots- (moved at this time to new premises next to Midland Bank.
manager-Bert Weeks, father of Philip Weeks, much liked director NCB
Olivers Shoes (manager- Sid Kingston)
Cottons tobacconist and cards
Hayward and williams decorators
Peglers grocers(
Hills, grocers (I think one of these sold to Coop-> Coop grocers
Roath furnishing
trinket shop Did Ron Hughes, photographer have it at one time
(up the stairs to Gordon Davies dentist. Last one to use gas
Methodist chapel
Coal yard

Haywards- hardware and tools
Longstaffs (Penny) Bazaar

I think it was George Davies butchers...Jordan’s was over by the Queens ballroom.

Davies (butcher) delivered meat with an Armstrong Siddeley car.
There's posh. It was The only AS car in the town
